The purpose of the Water For People Peninsula Campaign is to raise awareness and funding for clean drinking water for children and families in need.

Funds raised during the 2008 campaign will be allocated for water system improvements in Chinda, one of the oldest municipalities in Honduras, where nearly 50 percent of Chinda’s inhabitants are without access to safe water and over 40 percent are without access to sanitation facilities.
