Ritchie-Curbow Construction Company, Inc. has provided construction services in Virginia for over 36 years. The company was founded in 1973 when Joseph C. Ritchie paired his background in general contracting with Gary D. Curbow’s expertise in construction and civil engineering. The firm grew steadily, expanding its scope of work and building solutions.
In 1974, Ritchie-Curbow was one of the first construction firms to offer a design/build option. Our company formed an alliance with Butler Manufacturing, the premier pre-engineered metal building systems manufacturer, providing new building options for clients. And in the early ‘90s, Ritchie-Curbow turned another innovative corner by constructing the first pre-cast parking facility on the Peninsula.
